Does Spinner's Penetration Help Pets?

Just want to know if it works on helping the pets do damage as well.

You'll be better off with Necropotence and Julianos combo until you get gear with minor slayer.

but the pets do magic damage so it should help them

You would think so... but I have seen many claiming the penetration doesn't affect pets. Maybe I should go with Tressure hunter for that permenent Critical boost.

I did a quick test on my shaman with bear and Spriggan (equivallent of Spinner for stamina)

I switched a ring from Spriggan with another ring with the same other values to only lose the 5 pieces bonus...but to keep all other stats the same

Bear did quite a lot more damage with Spriggan fully active

So, it is safe to assume your own penetration affects your pet too, at least for bear, stamina and shaman
No reason it would work another way for magicka or sorc

Easy to test anyway

just go to a dummy and do a dps test, most high ranking guildmembers hv a dumy just go there, aklso treasure hunter set sucks, juzst slot magelight its much better

The biggest problem with mage light is that I don't have the room for it.

i mean solo u can wear treasure hunter but in raids u want to use spellcrit pots or slot mage light, it gives 5 + 2% max magicka and 10% crit, you should find room for it, idk if ur pets benefit from the crit but i think they benefit from max magicka

I found away around the problem by changing my rotation. The only bad thing is that sometimes a stun or knockback breaks my Daedric Prey chance and I have to quickly swtich back to get my shield up quickly losing some DPS. But at least Infernal set had it so that I'm constantly spewing fire balls at the enemy even if I'm Knocked prone or stunned.

idk what monsterset a pet sorc runs but why not the monsterset with the firespitting deadra? :D i think the firebolt on shield cast is only really used in pvp

I mainly do PVP. My Health is pretty low so I constantly have shield up, which means I am constantly spewing fireballs. I do have that set too and maybe I'll try it but... I find the advantages of the fireballs very hard to give up since I'm spending an significant amount of magic just for defense, it makes sense to weaponize it.
