Stam DK or Stam templar?

Hey guys, I'm on my third character trying to find a playstyle I can enjoy. I've tried both Magsorc and Stamblade which both didn't suit me very well. I got both of them to the high 30's and I wanted to give something else a go.

In your experience which is most fun for you guys?

I wouldn't call a lv30 char a good impression of a build, you're missing a lot of skills and morphs.

Stamdk is a basic warrior, you almost never use class skills, as a matter of fact the only class heavy stam chars would be nightblade and warden. Stamina Dk sorc and templar are pretty much the same build wise, minus 2 or 3 skills and some passives. I like stamsorc because you have a very good class heal (the surge) and a passive execute.

Stam templar in my opion i do have a lvl stam DK an Stam templar i really enjoyed them both
I would honest say that Stam templar i really enjoy playing alot

I mean, I've hunted for sky shards, got mages guild to lvl 5, got most of my armor up.

What level do I need to be to get a good impression of a character? Cause it feels like I got most of the skills right now.

You didnt get mages guild ultimate, that one alone is a game changer on a magicka build. You also pretty much don't have higher class skills and weapon skills.
You might also not be realizing some good combos because you havent play enough.

I do have higher class skills and destro staff almost maxed out.

Noone can tell you really
If you listed what you didnt liked about your characters, it would be easier to guess

Still, a stam char is not really different from another stam char as a 2H sword or a bow will be exactly the same with exactly the same skills on any class

Magicka characters are more varied as they have much more class skills to play with + the generic ones


If you dont like a character by lvl 30, chances are you wont like it more at higher level unless you do some heavy respe trying some other skills, weapon lines or changing playstyle

in my opinion you have to use a wierd-looking ability to be strong as DK (the one that heals you from low hp and makes you transparent) so anywayrs.... DK is a stronger class overall in my opinion, but templar might be better for damage output and either way templar is way more fun in my opinion (templar gets a stamina morph for the skill where they summon a magical spear and do multiple stabs)
