I personally like the look of the High Elf staff. It's not as fancy as some but I like it for it's overall appearance. I use the look on most of my caster type characters.

But if you are looking for something YOU might like, go to a outfit station and preview the staffs. You dont even need to know the style to get a preview of all staffs in the game, so have fun browsing and then learn the style of what you like most!
