Trolling in ESO as tank

Here is recipe for unkillable tank (dont thank me).

There is a set that reduces incoming damage by 15% while you are casting or channelling - Light of Cyrodiil.
Add here Psijic passive, that reduces inc. damage by 30% while casting or channeling Psijic skills.
So this is a rough 45% incoming damage reduction while using Meditate in Psijic skill line. This skill also replenish resources and heals at same time.

This not even counting armor, resists or other damage reduction passives (like Nord's 6% racial or Psijic ultimate ability morph 8% while slotted)

With somewhat decent gear and stats you can Troll-Tank 10-15 players at same time. Or, in Battlegrounds, 2 full enemy teams i.e. 8 people.

I called thread - Trolling.

Because "meditating" tank in middle of 8-10 people trying to get him - is best trolling.

You don't stack bonuses. Damage reduction mitigation is multiplicative, and each piece you layer on has diminishing returns. So instead of two separate 50% damage reductions giving you 100% damage immunity, together they both give you 75% damage reduction.

45% + 30% of 45% = 60%
60% + 15% of 30% = 66.6%
65.6% + 8% of 15% = 68.4%

So you will get 68.4% damage reduction ONLY during casting or channeling Psijic skills.

15% + 8% of 15% = 16.8%

So your general pernament passive damage reduction will be 16.8%.
Ofcourse you get also passives from CP, but they are not stacking as well.

That's the point - "during chanelling Psijic skills". Spam meditate and be invincible. While also getting resources and health back from meditate.

So you troll enemies by constantly meditating :)

Bonus points if said tank capture flag and DPS of whole team is not enough to bring this tank down. Their only option is either leave or team with 2nd team, but 1 tank can outlive 8 attackers just fine by Trolling them via meditate.

Meditate can be disrupted/disabled in many ways...

It can be only interrupted in theory. In practice, interrupt only works if target do not have CC immunity. Tank will have CC immunity almost all of time since so many people attack him.

u can ALWAYS interupt channeled abilities that r interuptable, so meditate can b interupted everytime he tries to do it while soul assault can never be interupted... even though its a channeled ability............ stuuuuuuuuupit

nope, meditation is interruptable. always. that's why it can be used in pvp only after you are far away from your enemies. or it's a perfect way to get an additional shield while blocking.

10-15 players are not required. one sorc with cage is enough for you :D

by interupt i mean "bash" no hard cc necessary
