What difference does it make? Anyone can play on any server

The only thing i om worry is about lag spikes

There is no asian server. Only eu and na.

There is a japanese server but it's geolocked to japanese soil and you can only connect with it with the japanese version which is in japanese.

Hi

I access the US server from SG. Ping is usually between 250 and 300. I don't get lag spikes often so it's definitely playable. I guess it depends a bit on the connection quality in your location.

stay away from ESO.
i buy ESO without knowing that there is NO ASIAN server.
sure you can play PVE with 250-300 ping, but sadly there is alot of ping spikes at certain time almost everyday especially after new dlc launch and free week, which you have to play with ping spikes almost every 30 seconds.

BTW endgame content like vet trial and pvp will become unbearable even with 250 ping (as for trial, your damage is limited without attack weaving and precise slot swapping)

I play in asia on the NA server and have completed many vet trials/pledges and pvp. I have been disconnected a few times but nothing out of the ordinary with a mmo of this size and complexity (imo).

i kinda admire people like you.
while you seem to be patient i clearly not, i still try to figure it out this 1 problem, lag spikes.
(port forwarding fix this issue but someone forbid me for doing it, and he calls me idiot for that LOL)

This is a very action oriented game so a high latency makes the game all but unplayable. If you have a ping of more than about 200 you might as well forget about playing this game.

Nonsense. I'm doing well in PvP and trials. As Cpt. Stern says, there may be the occasional disconnect (once every 10+ sessions) but that's not a big issue.
I very rarely get any kind of rubber banding or other lag related phenomenon and when I do it's usually server wide (I.e. my friend in the US gets it too).
At PR 350 and over I start to get concerned.

I live in PH and my ping is around 295-315 stable. no issues in PVP or dungeons. haven't tried TRIALS since i play the game like an RPG (Story,Quest,Explore) sometimes i do cyrodrill for PVP non CP since im still at low CP.
