Warden skills and profession?
First of all I have 8 unspent skillpoints, because I have no idea what to use, which new ones should I buy.
So far I'm using Screaming cliff racer, Deep fissure, Frost Cloak, Winter's revenge and Swarn on my skillbar, and my little bear. Besides of these I only bought Fungal growth, but I don't really use it. I don't have a specific armor type I prefer, so I don't spend points on those, and since I don't want to change these spells, I don't spend points on weapons either. Or crafts. Basically I'm waiting these spells to be able to upgrade, and that's it lol

Should I use every profession because they worth it or just choose 1 or 2 to evolve, and leave the rest? If so, which one? Or it doesn't matters? (I only played WoW for a while, and there the profession was important, so I don't know if there's something role of it or anything)
I mean my inventory is full all the time, and it's really annoying, but I know if I put anything into the bank, I'll completely forget about it.
I mean it's really cool that you can spend your skillpoints on stuffs like those, but it's just way too much. ... at least for a beginner like me. I just don't want to waste my points on useless skills.
I'm lvl 24 btw mainly PVE, only do PVP for the daily XP reward.

Oh also, are there tank skills between my chosen ones? Because I always pull the boss on myself, and I guess I'm using some high aggro maker stuff, but I don't know which one is that.

Warden's can go Magicka or Stamina, my Wardens are Stamina-so all Att's go into Stamina

ESO+ sub will double your inventory slots and also 2X bank slots. Craft Bag will pull and hold all your crafting mats

Wardens can be decent at everything, and are great soloers

There are like 400+ skillpoints available in the game
You can respe at any time (costs gold)
So, dont worry about spending points in skills, if only to test or level them
You cant know how good or bad a skill is before testing it yourself....

Your main choice is magicka or stamina
You can change this too, but races are more suited to one or the other, so, better to stick to the one fitting your race
Just put all / most of your stat points into magicka or stamina and use the right morphs / weapon / armor

Generally...
Light armors are for magicka users (+ staves)
Medium for stamina users (+ weapons)
Heavy for tanks
You want 5+ of an armor type to get the good passives fitting your character

Crafting is best with all on one character, your main or a dedicaced crafter
Without ESO+ and the craftbag, it is a pain because of inventory cluttering
Will compete with fighting for skillpoints until you have a lot
At start, you are probably better to ignore it totally or to concentrate on 1 or 2 lines

If you are pulling agro, probably due to 1H + S or ice staff
Anything with taunting should be avoided if you are not the tank in the group

Thanks for the answers! Is it easier to solo things with stamina build?
Trigger Sep 19, 2018 @ 11:41am
solo and stamina is the way i go
Ficelle Sep 19, 2018 @ 12:05pm
Both magicka and stamina can solo very well
Warden are great soloers because they have access to a well rounded set of skills and a pet

A pet helps big time in solo, not really for damage, but because it removes a lot of pressure from you
Any hit the pet is taking is one you dont have to avoid / tank / heal back...whatever

I like stamina because big pool of stamina helps a lot with running around, which you do a lot if you like questing, exploring, gathering...etc
Also, melee feels a bit more involved than magicka,...personal taste here

Combine healing (Green Balance - Fungal Growth, Leeching Vines, Lotus Blossom) with one handed + shield abilities (Heroic Slash + Piercing) on the first slot and 2 handed abilities with damage shield abilities (shimmering shield and ice fortress).

This way you gonna have 3 in 1 - tank, healer & dps. I have soloed a veteran dungeon on 280CP with this build (City of Ash 2) xD

Thanks again! :D
And a last question, do I have champion points if it's my first character? As I read only players with at least 1 lvl 50 can earn that, but I see these numbers before names everywhere. So I didn't understand the article about CP, or I'm the only one with first character in the game, I can't find my CP anywhere, so I guess I don't really have one.
Ficelle Sep 19, 2018 @ 3:08pm
You get Champion XP at lvl 50
CP are account wide

First character wont have any CP until he reaches lvl 50 and starts to get Champion XP

Now, alts get all the unlocked CP from the get go, lvl 1 CP XXX
They just dont get any Champion XP until 50
