Volenfell quest is broken
Cant finish it, the group leaves the dungeon before I can talk to Taraya, and Im force-removed from the area during the fight with the skeletons. Returned to the dungeon using the map, but when I talk to her, the quest resets.

its a good game but the technical issues r tremendous and all zos cares abt is how to squeeze more money of its customers for new mount sjkins or gambling addicted with lootboxes... u just need accompany here, u r not alowed to leave the area before she does, leave a negative review for the game if ur fed up by the countless bugs and MAY (most definatly not) zos will do sth

You weren't supposed to fight the skeletons after the final boss, the just keep on spawning. If you had paid attention, you were asked to run by the NPCs. After the fight run out the door on the right behind the boss room, and then talk to the NPC to finish it. You should have enough time to do that.

I know. I ran to the door, but she was not there. There was only the pointer.

I submitted a ticket, but received a automated answer.

if U p8 attention u would se ethat he says quest is broken, thats why he said its bugged, he did it as the game said he should do it but the npc never arives BUGGED! thats why i gave him my workaround since zos doesnt care abt the state of the game the community has to come up with solutions

Whenever you enter a Undaunted Dungeon pledge and accept the inside quest = Tell your group you have inside quest and need someone to stay until quest is done.

I completed this quest with my stamNB something like a week ago with no issue.

Actually, it wasnt a pledge... I was exploring some places in the Alik'r desert and collecting some notes, until I arrived there.

But I finished the quest today, had to ask the players to wait for me to finish the quest. Fortunatelly two of them were also doing the quest.

You have to wait Taraya to enter the door first. If you enter before her, the quest bug, and you wont find her at the other side, only the pointer. You also have to wait her recover her breath... so yeah, theres not enough time if your group leaves and you are forced to exit the dungeon.

The timer for removal should only start after you finish the quest, but it start after three players leave the dungeon.

but it matters only in volenfell since no other dungeon has such a quest step, where do u hv the info from?!

I have run into similar issues before. (not dungeon quests). Game wants me to talk to a NPC. But there's no one there. Just the quest marker.
To fix it I had to abandon the quest and do it again.

sometimes it can be enough to relog, try that before abandon a quest next time :)
