Cant get above 20k dps

How important is cp? Im cp296 and I can only get 19k dps. My friends all get 40+k dps and I really do not know what to do to improve. I currently have Ilambris( gold divines), julianos and mothers sorrow staff and jewelry

Try putting Nirnhold enchantment on your weapons. Also, ask your friends what they are doing.

what is your class ? what is your Mundas Stone, what kind of damage you wanna do, what sets you wearing ? So many questions, so little info. Hard to tell/suggest to you.

Magsorc(non pet), im using apprentice mundus stone. I wanna do 30-40k dps on skeleton dummy. Im wearing ilambris with divines, julianos full divines and mothers sorrow staff and jewelry. All golded with golden magicka enchant. Rn im stuck at 19.2k dps. Is animation cancelling the problem?

The problem will probably be the fact that you haven’t mastered your light attack weave and skill rotation yet, and all we can suggest to that is keep working on it. In addition, you might not be reaching penetration cap on the skeleton so your damage will be much less than in a dungeon, trial etc.
