Attributes:I put everything on stamina to deal as much damage as possible, still wasnt enough to kill him.
Skillpoints:Fine, you got me there, but i already had nearly all skills i need, and maxed aswell.
The only ones missing, are skills for more health/stamina,or skills i dont really need that much at the moment.Skills i need to do more damage, like the dawnbringer are already maxed(and even that skill didnt bother him one bit,it seems, despite me hitting him right in the face......or lets say, backhead, with it.)
Proper rotation of abbilities:I think its save to assume that the other people are not braindead and know how to press 1,2,3,4,5 at least.
Judging by their points,cp and how they fight,id say they are not newbies who dont know how to fight.
I find it hard to believe that pressing some number keys in a different manner than 3-4 other people, makes you survive that long,i mean,i know how to use my skills and do damage.
Besides,i have yet to witness the opposite:A damage dealer who is capable of taking out one of those people in a bg all by himself.
Are all of those people with nice gear, attributes, skillpoints and proper rotation of abbilities, tanks?
I think not,so there should have been at least 1 guy on my team,or the other team, who was capable of taking him out,but that wasnt the case.
Seriously though....where is the fun in chasing down a guy who isnt even fighting you and just running away?
To me that just doesnt sound balanced at all,if it needs a army to kill 1 guy who doesnt even fight.
Would apreciate a answer of someone who manages to kill those tanks in bg,s,and who can offer some tips on how to break their turtle shell.

Stuff like this.
How is this possible?
Didnt even see him do anything fancy, but i had basically the same experience like those guys, just in a BG,not in the alliance war....
I know, its not that much, compared to the pro,s but im really trying hard, yet i dont get closer to killing those tanks.
So i hope i will indeed,,learn in time'' :(
in the end he beat him but the agony he had to endure......... #remove wings
its usual 8 people who got no clue. Armor pen is a good tip or try crit me till you fingersbleed but find alcast guide as i didnt invent that wheel ;)
@Playing different modes:I wanted the daily reward for choosing the game mode randomly,so....bad luck with chaosball multiple times.
Im a stamplar.....2H+bow,yet wings do bother me aswell, since im using binding javelin and it often backfires and i get knocked down.
Sure,i could switch to my 2H knockdown, but the javelin proved to be very useful in certain situations, like knocking players off bridges from afar or support someone who was being attacked,or when im chasing someone....against DK,s its kinda useless though.
But the last tank i encountered in a chaosball mode, and who gave me the most trouble, wasnt a DK from what i saw.
I know how to interrupt, and if there is a opportunity to do it(whitch didnt happen too often),i did it.
Especially when he reached his teams spawn point you got to be extra careful because you cant just focus on the tank there or his team will blast you down from all directions,or you simply run into the other team who didnt even intend to attack you.
Teamplay.....as much teamplay as you can expect from a random-bg group.
At least they paid attention to the objective.
I dont have a lot of armor penetration at the moment, went after weapon damage so it scales with momentum and pots+i heard that armor penetration will be useless against mages with shields(they give me a hard time aswell, but at least i dont need over 3 people to kill one, like its the case with tanks atm).
so its all about practice and timing, support and that kind of things. its not mostly about gear because you can be pretty good in BG even with mid range gear, but its important to know your rotation of skills and how to approach different situations in BG. just keep playing and you'll get there in no time :)
I tried to find someone to teach me for a while, preferable a stamplar, like me.
The games discord server was kinda useful sometimes(especially when i was still running my crappy heavy armor/life drain build because i didnt know it better yet).
But a sparring could be useful too i guess.
Admittedly I'm still levelling so maybe it improves with gear and levels.
I go there for my daily reward and that's it. 15 mins "wasted" of my life for shiny rewards.
No biggie.
The gap between new people and pros is very high though, its all about builds later.
Personally,i dont see the fun in experimenting with builds so much, either to make one for myself,or to counter others,id rather just use the skills that suit my playstyle and focus on combat itself....but builds are very important in eso so theres no way around it,if you want to enjoy pvp(my first build just included skills i liked to use,not the one i needed....and i died very often in pvp).
I love pvp in mmo,s....and i like eso,so thats why im trying to deal with the builds, the immortal tanks and the shield-using-spell-slinging-flamethrowers with legs.
Like kolegator said....just keep playing, maybe it gets more entertaining later.
I am a healer that can do dps also.
