I'm absolutely sick to death of starting in Vvardenfell
I've created multiple ESO characters, all ranging in races and alliances and no matter what I do I always start in this location. I'm sick to death of these quests and I know you can start in other locations because my first character started elsewhere.

Do I just have bad RNG? Or is there something I'm doing wrong?

It's a bit weird that we can't select starting locations, but that's how it is.

Thank you so much! Wasn't sure if I was restricted from doing that or not. Thank you!

Best destinations are probably Vulkhel Guead, Davon's Watch, and Daggerfall - choose the city that belongs to your character's alliance. In those three cities, a "hooded figure" give you a quest that sets you on track for the game's original main quest, just as if you had started the game without Morowind.

If you port to The tiny starter island for whatever faction you want to play, you can start the main faction quest an then start the main story quest when you get to the main first region (hooded figure thing that some already mentioned).

Before Morrowind, the starter tutoral was what happens with the hooded figure quest. Once you escape, you're dropped off at the starter island. Apart from a little hello, you don't hear from the Proffit again until you get to the mainland.

So if you're looking for a story experience that makes the most sense, you want to get to Khenarthi, Stro M'kai, or the EP one (can't remember nmae right now).
