Why so many ghosts?

Its becoming annoying to find ghosts and ghosts quests everywhere in Tamriel. 9 in 10 quests are about ghosts. When we will have more diversity in quests?

yeah don't forget that every zone has its cult that has ghosts and zombies, painted differently depending on the zone

Um... I think you're just doing quest within the same area? Most quests I do don't include ghost-hunting, so....

Should go to another zone. Auridon has some nice interesting quest

Because that's Elder Scrolls lore. It's all about discovering another plane that is similar to heaven or hell with ancient godlike beings of immense magical power. Half the daedra bear characteristics of Biblical demons and Molag Bal himself represents Lucifer. With souls being the fundamentally core element to soul gems and magic and the planes themselves, of course there's tons of ghosts.
