Who's your favorite ESO NPC?
Personally I've always really loved Raz. He's got a good sense of humor and a wily personality.

He's very closely tied with Cadwell though. His humor alone is one thing, but being voiced by John Cleese is the entire rest of it.

I haven't actually done much in ESO quest/story-wise other than a bit of the main story, and so far the only NPC that I've liked (other than Cadwell) is Abnur Tharn. The heroes in the main story are so dull and boring, so his cynical comments and banter with Lyris were refreshing and much needed.

No one is coming to mind for me right now, but I wanted to bump this since it's actually an interesting substantive question about the game, and it doesn't deserve to get buried under all the whiny pricing posts.

Pacrooti.

I'll also take this time to recognize Velsa and Narahni.
I think it's really cool (not because this is a time of "political correction" in our country) but because I've never played an online game that took to the skies with a passionate interracial, interspecies, same-sex NPC. Not only did they NOT sex them up all to hell and back, but their tale is actually a sad one. I won't give away any spoilers, just play the Thieves Guild storyline.

M'aiq was in the originals as a common character as well, as well, right?

Thanks, do you have any of the DLC or played any of the thieves guild missions?

I think this is directed at me? Yes, I have ESO+ so I've dabbled in the DLC content, probably TG more than any of the others, though I haven't progressed that far into the storyline.

To be clear, I meant that no one particular NPC was/is standing out for me in the moment, but in general, I think most of them are pretty endearing, interesting, and well-voiced. Certainly I would agree that everyone mentioned above is a solid choice.

I was incredibly impressed with the choices of voices (didn't mean to rhyme that) they had for this game. I've seen a few reoccuring characters from others but I like that they still have individual game-specific NPC's that we'd probably see in future games

Razum'Dar is easily my favorite. I was bummed out when he got mad at me for saving his life, but he got over it. He encourages you to lie, cheat, and steal, what's not to love?

I gotta give respect to Pacrooti too. His letters crack me up. But is it a NPC if you never meet them in person?

I hope in a future DLC we get to help Gabrielle rescue Darian. I wouldn't say they are my fav, but I feel bad for her everytime I turn in the Buried Evil Daily in Anvil and I see her researching ways to save him.

Raz is so loveable it's stupid. It's impossible not to. And he's also got the most badass armor of any NPC in the game, in my opinion.

As for feeling bad for NPCs, I always felt the most bad for Walks-Softly. I don't know if you've played the Thieves Guild yet or not, but (spoiler ahead) losing his best friend to find she never saw him more than a mere pet completely broke my heart If you haven't gotten the Thieves Guild dlc yet, I encourage it for Walks-Softly's story alone.
A lot of the NPC stories in that dlc were very good, come to think of it
