Hey STEAM, cannot renew subscription, keep getting this:

Steam failed to process your payment.

Steam attempted to process your recurring payment for The Elder Scrolls Online: Plus 1 Month Membership Recurring but was unable to complete the transaction.

Please ensure that your payment information is up to date and that you have enough funds on your account for this transaction. You can update your subscription and saved billing information anytime from your account details page.

chick on your money, then subscribtion settings (or something like that, my steam isnt english) and cancel your subscribtion

I have cancelled it, and gone to account and clicked renew, STEAM just refuses to take the money and renew the sub... the money is there in the wallet and I have clicked apply. Seems I am not the only one to have this problem but STEAM has done nothing to resolve it on their end

Would very much appreciate some help from a dev on this matter.

See your Steam account name upper right-hand corner, click on it, next click on Account Details, look for MANAGE SUB click on it, next click on EDIT and then pick your choice of 3 ESO+ packages. Accept/confirm. Log out of steam, then login again to complete sale. Also, make sure you have money in your Steam Wallet to cover your sub.

I'm having that same issue and it is annoying I even canceled it and went to redo it and nothing it's not even letting me now

Not sure if this will help others it was trying to through an old debit card first and was failing make sure other payments are off before you want it to go through steam wallet

its been 2 years i know but if anyone gets the same error try below

delete your saved credit card information then resub again

at least thats how i solved this annoying ♥♥♥♥

Just a note:

When you purchase or renew an ESO Subscription with Wallet, you MUST have the full price of the subscription already in your Wallet.

For example, if you attempt to buy or renew a 3-month subscription, and you don't have 100% of the cost in your Wallet (intending to add more later to cover it), that will not work.

Don't know if that is the issue here. Just thought I would post a reminder on how it works since this might be in play as the problem.

I have had issues with trying to cancel ESO subscription ? I usually run a few months with a subscription , fill up my crafting bag and run a few dungeons etc , Last time , i cancelled the sub , but the money kept leaving my wallet until my wallet was emptied ! NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME ,,, but i did cancel the subscription and then again when it took the money again ???? DO NOT USE CREDIT CARDS FOR THIS GAME ! Was what i learned ! ,,, Honestly i will now ONLY use the steam wallet !

Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you my dude I've been cancelling and resubbing for the last 24 hours and nothing happened until I did this. Now I can continue playing Dead Space Remake😄

Sooo. I've tried everything here and still getting the same message. Delete card, add new one. Cancel and try again. Even Cancelled, deleted, logged out, logged on, new card, new subscription. And still nothing. I have no idea what else to do

I have the money in the wallet too, just in case
