Any Oceanic/Australian servers yet?
Been waiting for years because it is unplayable for me. Well it is... but those delays are annoying when it comes to fighting hard enemies.

They will never make aussie servers sadly. I'm an aussie myself and deal with the ping. I'm a top pvper on my magplar. Yes if we had better ping i would be one of the best of the best but sadly it can't happen with the delays.

I don't understand at all. They're having so much players and money at the moment... I can't see why it would hurt the game.

Considering the maintenance fails in I think Feb (?) that killed NA but didn't impact EU (for example), I kind of don't want them to split their maintenance and development team any more? They need all the help they can get to keep limping along as it is!

Not to mention, you'd need to start from scratch since the game is server specific. Characters, Crown items, pets, etc don't migrate with you. Is there a region lock on DLC or ESO+? I'm cynical enough to believe that.

i loved playing this game but unfortunatly the ping was just too much for me.. its a horrible catch 22 , people dont play the game in AU/OCE due to the servers and ESO wont make AU/OCE servers due to the small player base in the region.

im always checking back to see if there has been any progress on a server but from what i can see, unfortunatly its never going to happen

u talk ♥♥♥♥!

this isnt a 3 man indepent studio we r talking abt, this is ZENIMAX! they hv the money but why would they spend it on more servers if instead they can get a new rolex?

also u can migrate ur chars and items to new servers, they did it in the past when they started on console, many pc players took their old chars to ps4.

I always get like 100+ ping in NA servers as well and every other game I play I get less than 50.

I envy your internet. 100+ is tolerable in PvE. I don't know for PvP. However, I get 250+ ping on average here in SEA. Welp.

An Aussie server isn't going to happen because there simply is not have enough players. Cyrodil woul be completely dead. So until we get better internet, we just have to live with the ping.

I generally get 250-300 ping in PvE and always over 300 in PvP. But I have thousands of hours logged -- 970 CP toon -- and I mainly PvP in Cyro. Obviously I love the game. Sure I must die heaps to N/A players because of my ping, but it is still fun, and my Magsorc still gets way more killing blows than deaths.

I'm in NZ and never have problems playing on the US server

I lived in Sydney though and the internet is terrible there.

It's just your countries crap internet not the ESO servers

An Oceanic server wouldnt hurt though. Maybe a server in Darwin northern Australia where Aus, NZ and other countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines, maybe even Vietnam and Taiwan could make for a large sustainable player base. A lot of those countries have a growing middle class that can afford gaming PC's and that middle class speaks english as a second language, more often than not.

On the bright side, even if it doesn't materialise with ESO, i can see that being the shape of things to come. On top of other things, Australia getting an improved broadband infrastructure will eventually happen too.

I see no harm in adding another server to open the game up even more to the world.
I don't see it happening though, as this game is getting older and things like that probabaly won't happen now.

if they do make one, chances are if we aussie players have to start from scatch , and no crown crate items will be transfered over, I might have to choke a b*ich
