just a heads up to everyone that doesn't have the best specifications for their computer, some add-ons can be very taxing and can make the game's performance actually suffer greatly. (i.e. mastermerchant)

that was the first thing i thought of when i read "200+ active addons" ....
i use only a select few... which you mentioned all of: votan's minimap, skyshards, lost treasure, harvestmap, & mastermerchant. i also used lorebooks temporarily though to help unlock meteor. the rest just seem unecessary to me, nothing personal, but it's just that a lot of add-ons seem to only make cosmetic changes to the user interface. i have had a couple of my friends reccomend combat metrics to me, but i just don't care about seeings numbers, i play with combat text off and it would only make me feel like i was in math class all over again lol

anyways thank you for sharing your knowledges of the add-ons, sir

thanks for the feedback guys, it means a lot knowing I've helped a bit :)

it is taxing indeed using so many addons, and even though I have a very strong PC, my loading times are 3 min+, when I do log in I need 2 more minutes to stabilize (mostly Master Merchant, 350K sales data at the moment), and then it's great!

Unfortunately I do get some sudden drops and lags that last 1-2 seconds, which I'm most certain are due to addons.

Too bad there's not a good way to monitor the usage of each addon separately. Or is there and I'm missing it?

Excellent list.

One more I would add is "WritWorthy" addon. It's very useful if you're doing master writs. This addon tells you whether you can do a certain master writ or not by looking at the writ (no need to have the writ in your inventory). Very useful when you go shopping for master writs. It also tells what you're missing if you can't do the writ. Like which trait or how many traits needed for the set or the style. It can also show the crafting cost.

You can download "WritWorthy" addon from here,

Lots of those "features" feel like cheating.... thanks but no.
Haha welcome to real life @Aiden, that was my feeling back when I discovered WoW addons xD

@Lashan.W I'm aware of WritWorthy, but to be honest I haven't yet started Master Writs as there's many things I want to calculate beforehand (this has been postponed so much, I'm sitting with 40+ master writs on my bank right now). I will check it out!

@jedi72 cheating? how? I would say the oppossite, the developers are "cheating" our time by us having to rely in so many addons in order to do some things more effectively. All ESO addons use information from the game, in a way that it's useful, how is that cheating? Opening the map 1 million times during a quest, or the inventory 100 times to check on your balance is counter-intuitive.
