The main quests give you 14 skill points (8 for brotherhood, 6 for thieves guild), that alone is justification for doing them if you have the DLCs. (all other zones only give you 3)
Bought the game via Steam and only have what came with that purchase. Haven't added any DLC's myself so I guess it came with original purchase

This must be it. A Free weekend activates Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood. You also got the pets if you travelled to those zones. You can delete that quest if it is taking up space in your quest log. It will pop up again if you ever do get the DLCs.
Shame, cause I wanted to like it, but it needs a complete redesign.
Mass murder and theft from corpses is okay but assassination and theft from the living not okay. Okay Okay ;) I see someone is getting their morality from the TV.
