How to Beat Urfon Ice-Heart?

I have fought this guy over and over again. Last time he did 70K damage to me and the best I could do was get his health down half way.

When I look at him I see a typical boss I should be able to handle relatively easy but not this cat.

stay at range, let the npc tank him, don't get in the aoes and kill the archers when they pop.

Be sure to have up to date gear. Get more levels or champion points if you really need more power, or change your build.

I must have been causing him mega-damage for him to have to do 70K to me to kill me. I start with between 24-25K damage and I used one potion which would have brought me up to 28-29K so I absorbed nearly 40K healing from him. I was only hit by one archer for 328 damage if memory serves me correctly.

Something is just not adding up here. I kill bosses like him all day (one red pip).

If I absorbed around 40K of health from him then I did nearly 50K in damage to him. A (one red-pip) boss should not survive that much damage. Something about this just does not add up or he is much more powerful than the game is telling me. I should be able to handle him plus 3-5 minions. I have been doing that today by the way.

Maybe try some additional frost resistance.

Got him today after the servers came up. He killed me the first time but on my second try I got him and I feel just lucky. Haven't got a clue what I did differently but he is history now.

He was the last of the problem quests that had been bugging me. All the old quests that I could not complete are done now.
