is there an alternative for lorebooks addon?

Hey, for those who are not familiar with addon :

Find your teso addon repertory (on Win7: /users/yourname/documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/Addons/Lorebooks/).

Open file LoreBooks.lua with a simple text editor (bloc note).

Find expression : if not hidden then

And replace it by : if not hidden and totalBooks ~= nil then
replace it in the 3rd line (line 1339) by : if not hidden and totalBooksInCollection ~= nil then

It appears 3 times in file at :

Line 789
Line 1196
Line 1339

Save LoreBooks.lua file and refresh UI ingame or Deconnect/reconnect your charactere to reload UI.

i'm trying "MapPins" now, not sure if it's gonna work but it says it has skyshards & lorebooks and it was updated same day as summerset... so maybe

It works! Apply 'load out of date addons' in addons menu.

There is a discussion and a fix for Lorebooks on the esoui.com website. I made the alterations that were suggested by a user and it works fine with no error messages.
