Battlegrounds Leaderboards

So, I just ranked #1 on Battlegrounds Flag games EU, and as a reward for over 100k points I got.....

A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOW AND A BLUE NODE. And ofcourse a beautiful message that I am now renown and famous. From that master whatever-his-name-is. Wow. Thanks.

Not even few k gold, or AP. Only that useless trash.

No wonder there isn't any information on rewards for Battleground leaderboards since they are so generous.

So yea, keep trying and score those points and maybe one day you'll be eligible for a Vanguard Bow and a blue node.

I wonder what BG Deathmatch #1 guy got..

(And to stop all you contradicting smartasses, I know its not just about rewards and I had fun playing, it's just that you'd expect them at least to add some gold to top 10 let alone #1...)

If all you got from my whole post is that I just want resources or currency than pls don't even reply to people before using at least half of your brain.

The point is if you already make leaderboard for something and make it a competition, then at least make the rewards feel at least a little bit - REWARDING.

If you think it's fair for people getting similar or even better rewards for just participating in a single BG match then those making it to the top then whats the point of leaderboards?

Would you'd be happy if you finished vet trial or vet maelstrom arena or ranked top 2% in Cyrodiil which are all part of the game and have leaderboards like Battlegrounds, and received lets say 20 health potions and a mimic stone? -Yea, i'm shure you would.

You answered to your question. It's very easy to get #1 in battleground leaderboards, becouse anyone don't need it. On top of "leaderboard" you can met PvE characters, which just played enough games =)
If there be good and unique reward for the first place, i guess you will be no more #1.

If you want currency, golden rings etc, get place in top of any ciro campagin (at least in top 10). It's much harder than get #1 in capture the flag (or relic) bla bla bla.

It's working exactly as you described. For the 1st place in weekly leaderboard of any trial (except vAS) you will get almost the the same reward as people who just finished it with 0 score.

Battlegrounds are full of cheating and hacks. Its virtually impossible to have a fair fight there, because the cheaters have infinite CCs, infinite magicka and infinite stamina, while you have limited resources. I hope the rewards become smaller than they already are, so that these cancerous players leave ESO for good.
