In which case you do the same thing, but later buy back the motifs in a month or so when their prices have eventually landed at 3 or 4k. They are already worth a tenth of what they were a few weeks ago.
I belong to one with demanding requirements(400k sales or 25k raffletickets), but we're located right in front of the crafting stations in Mournhold, so it is totally worth it since everything sells very fast. The better location guild charge more, but even if you don't join a big trade guild, if you use TTC addon to advertise your goods and keep your prices fair, people will search out your guild's merchant. Plus, if you get into a decent guild people will help you with pricing and I get a lot of help with crafting research items super cheap.
Selling unrefined materials is very profitable, 200 rubedite ore goes for around 8-10k, but 200 rubedite bars isn't worth posting in my 30 precious spots. Unrefined Silk, leather, and wood is even more profitable. 200 Blessed Thistle can pull in 32-36k if you want to sell fast-at 40k it will sell sometime in 30 days...Selling Jewel crafting stuff is still crazy, but not as profitable as last week. I sold 100 copper ounces for 25k two days ago...just the stuff left over from when i was leveling JC. Of course I've leveled most of my crafting long ago, so I can sell most of what I harvest since i wont use it.
