K'tora strategy?
The fat ♥♥♥♥ keeps healing before I can even get to those pearl things, since there are 2-3 of his minions pushing me back at an almost constant race.

Got tired of the stalemate that happened for the 3rd time so i just left.

Any strategy on how to kill him quickly?

I believe that he is a single player only boss sadly.

I have determined that it is not a pure solo mission. It is, however, an instanced mission, so you will need to form a Group with people in order to fight him as a team.

I teamed up with a friend and was able to beat him quite easily (both sorceresses, levels 9 and 12, one healing, one DPS).

The tip about using Wall of Elements to keep forcing him to move was absolute gold and might well have enabled me to beat him solo. Using pets for distraction would also help.

Haven't seen a fast way: I suspect you have to kill the pearls. They are slow. I did get him down to here he was alone and at about a third health but as a new character I ran out of health and soul stones before giving up. I think as a new sorc using destro staff was a problem: should have worked resto staff first, although destro's wall of elements did make him dive into the earth alot.

Yeah, I'm having trouble with this scumball too. I've tried three times but to no avail and I'm new to the game. (Started like... 2 weeks ago) Any help would be great.

At the moment I decided to just abandone fighting him, my char is at 149, from what i understand, since the scaling update, you character is scaled to the level of npcs, which is 160. this means that beween a specific level range, you are actually weaker then normal. So I'm going to try to fight gim again once I passed that 160 level, see if maybe it makes a difference.

You are from what I understand at least, technically stronger then me at the moment.

Level scaling is stupid lol

What worked for me (even at lvl 5) was simply spamming him down with the light bow attack. Since he changes position after a certain amount of damage has been dealt, he is unable to summon any minions. Its cheesy but at least it works.

I beat him tonight and it was a hard fight. I play Dragonknight and basically I am a magical tank in heavy armor.

Basically I would I battled him and ignore the others until they forced me away and then is when I would deal with them. Then I would go back to him until forced away. Did this over and over again until he weakened and died.

It took 2 Crown refreshers for the lack of a better word to keep me in the fight. I normally replace health by attacking so I have to get in close and personal (reason for being heavily armored tank). When pushed away I can suffer heavy damage because I cannot replace health so I try my best to stay close to my opponents. In essence for each 1 damage point I cause I get about .7 in health back.

Also, try hitting your A or D key twice to dodge. I do this a lot and basically try to dance around my opponent causing him damage, gaining health, and not taking hits at the same time. PS. Do not forget to block when your opponents give the cue they are going to launch a heavy attack.
