Main quest disappeared

I just escaped from the slavers and gave someone (I can't remember who) the assassins writ and arrived in seyda neen. Now the main quest has cease to exist in my journal and there is no marker on the map. What do I do?

Go to any major alliance city outside of Vvardenfell, and the next key NPC will find you, with dialogue that will advance the main quest. (E.g., hang around by the Daggerfall wayshrine) Or, play through Morrowind first, and then when you leave the area, you can restart the main quest. It's up to you.

There is no one way to play ESO, game was built for you to explore. The Main story of game is to get your SOUL back by Defeating MOLAG BAL. and it can be done anytime.

Oh what so does morrowind not have it's own main quest line? Is it all side missions? I'm cool with that is if is. (Oh yeah probably shoul've mention it was the morrowind expansion)
