Healing skills for Nightblades?
So ive been having trouble lately soloing stuff with a stamina nightblade, Im new to the game. Ive searched online and found a few different non-class related healing skills but they all suck. Are there any good healing skills for NB?

I read entropy is a healing skill from mages guild tree, but that skill totally sucks and only restores a meager 600 health, which is clearly stupid small. Wasted a few hours hunting lorebooks for nothing. The flurry/blood crazy duel wield skills heal barely a smidge of health and the siphon skill is also super weak, even if I spam cast any of these skills I still have a health deficit and get whittled down to death.

Its been tough, and irritating as Ive gotten the farthest Ive ever gone, level 21, but have hit a wall and am struggling through more and more encounters.

Resolving vigor. Assault line skill

#1. stay out of the red ground aoe
#2. dont just stand face to face, toe to toe with the target taking hits
#3. dodge and roll
#4. dont take hits due to #'s 1 thru 3 and you should be fine.
also at lvl 21, you just dont have the exp to enable the better skills yet.

Do siege training in Cyrodiil to open new skill-line: Alliance War and unlock VIGOR for self-healing. Eat food that gives health recovery

Wait, what is assault skill line? Ive heard that a few times. If its in Cyrodil doesnt that mean its PvP?

Im a casual player, at least in the sense that my skill at games is not on a competitive level. I usually just get ganked nonstop so its not fun in the least and I avoid it like the plague. Is there a way to get that without doing a bunch of PvP?

It mean lots of PvP. You will get Rank 2 or 3 from welcome quest, but Vigor is on Rank 5, and Caltrops (many guars link is as musthave for stamina dd) on Rank 6. You can't get those without PvP.

Hey, you choosed stamblade on your own. Why complain about it?

Magicka-based healings are bad for you because mechanics. Magicka-based skills are amplified from Max Magicka and Stamina-based skills from Max Stamina. Using magicka healing as stamina build? Lol, nooby guar xD

As casual player you may find its easier to make your stamblade into magblade and play in three buttons: elemental wall, refreshing/twisted path (depends on if you want more healing or not) and swallow soul as filler. Its enough for everything up to normal group dungeons. In vet dungeons you have to use something in addition, but hey, its your fault you choosed nightblade.

Complaining? Your very blunt. Im simply expressing my difficulties with the class, and seeking solutions. Thanks for the input though.

And your saying that a stamina nightblade wont hold up in vet dungeons? Im assuming that means if/when I get to level 50? If so thats a shame.

Magicka nightblade casual with only 3 active skills wont.

Like most people are saying. Go for Vigor, it's amazing.

You don't need to be good to get it, It doesn't matter how strong your char is, just help defend and attack some castles, lumber mills and stuff. You can see what's under attack by looking at the map. It won't take too long and it will be very worth it.

Lol i know your pain, my first character in eso was a stamblade, and i had difficulty surviving some quest boss fights and could not solo some of the public dungeons untill i was level 50 cp 160+ and untill i went to pvp to grind out for vigour (and i hate pvp in eso).

One thing you could do to make leveling easier on yourself with a nightblade character is to respec into a magblade. Respeccing is easy and not expensive, so you just have to look up online where the respec shrines are and have a bit of gold (50 gold per skill point spent).
Playing as magblade is easier as they have a few class skills which do decent damage while also healing you in the process, plus the beneit of unlocking a damage shield skill from wearing light armor (light armor skill line), so with all of that the survival is easier.

This does not mean you have to stay a magica nightblade, its just easier to level as a magblade, untill you learn how to play and untill you can grind out Assault skill line in pvp to unlock Vigor
which is the only good burst self-heal available to most stamina classes.

Another benefit from playing as a magblade while leveling is you can equip a resto staff on your second weapon bar and get some healing skills on there too, so you can queue for
random normal dungeon as a healer, which is great as healers are in high demand and so their queue times are very short as opposed to stamina nightblade damage dealer chars whos queue times are very long (10+ minutes).

If you want to grind for Vigor but also want to avoid PvP as much as possible, just go into Cyrodil and repair some walls and stuff. Just watch the map for fights in progress, wait until your faction is victorious, and then go to that castle. Often people will have went on to the next battle and not repaired the damaged walls and such, which can give you a decent Alliance Point boost. Just do the tutorial questline in Cyrodiil, that will help you by teaching you how to repair stuff.

There is also the option to do some PvE quests in the villages in Cyrodiil. Just go to one your faction controls and quest there, they reward you with, among other things, a decent amount of AP and some neat gear that is often fairly powerful for your level.

The third option is looking around your main bases, the ones you are at when you enter Cyrodiil, for scouting missions. They aren't always available, but when they are, they just tell you to go somewhere, write a scouting report, and return to the base.

All of these options will help you reach Vigor, which is as has been stated in this thread, the best healing option for most if not all stambuilds, with the least amount of PvP possible. Of course you can still be ganked, but apart from that, you should be fairly safe and quick in reaching your goal.

Bad way. For opening Vigor you need to unlock rank 5 assault (100k+ AP). By repairing walls it will take forever. From another side, if you're not avoiding PvP and playing in prime time, to gain 100k will take hour or two (you can do it without any PvP expirience - just follow the raid and zerg).

Really, you can always just stand at the castle that is under siege and gain points. Or chat>lfg: join some group and try your best at fight, ranged will be better if you're stamblade. And you can equip a restoration staff and heal, which is more beneficial in gaining AP. And don't forget to take "kill 20 (x)" quests along the way, 2000 AP for one if i'm correct - 2-3 a day is quite easy thing just using some aoe on zerg groups, others will finish them for you. Use steel tornado (if dual wielding) or power extraction more to hit some more enemies.

Then Vigor will be quite fast to achive.

This is a 3 year old post about something completely different. If I were you I'd start a new post and make it about your issue.
