Are Macros allowed???
I found this but I"m not sure what they are referring to.

5. SECURITY
5.1 Users are forbidden from using any unapproved third party applications, programs, scripts or any other game modifying mechanic used to change the game play experience on a ZeniMax Game, Service, forum, or other games or services provided by ZeniMax, including the distribution of said programs via ZeniMax services, sites, forums, communities, etc. This would include but is not limited to using or distributing speed hacks, aim bots, mouse controllers, spam bots, automated game play devices, etc. Third party applications are defined as any program, application or script written by an individual, company, corporation, or private party not employed by or contracted to perform services by ZeniMax.

I'm thinking of using a macro to do a rotation on my abilities not to full auto kill or run.

I don't believe there is any advantage to using a macro in eso. but steam forums is not the right place to ask because no mods or devs ever look here.

ask either on official forums or reddit where your question will be answered correctly without fools stating their opinion.

To be answered correctly, write to tech support directly, not on forums.

Macro is not working in eso.
Actually i'd think they'll just ban your acc by even ASKING - a company with a reputation of Zenimax using Bethesda as a meat-shield for all the corporate greed is a symbol to validate it.

Oh yeah, and forcing other studios to change the names of certain games that even USE the word "scrolls" or "prey" (even though the last word was "pray to the Gods" or something like that)

They wont ban you for asking, but it may take upp to few weeks to get answer.

It's written clearly that they aren't allowed but it won't stop people from using it since it is actually quite difficult to catch.

Only macro I heard people get banned for was auto crafting addons for making potions and foods. People will craft hundreds of stuff while they are away from their pc without even needing to press R every 5-10 seconds. I suggest you practise your rotations and learn animation canceling, you will be able to burn the rotation process in your brain and will do more damage in the long run with the animation canceling.

You also answered your own question. It affects gameplay. So not allowed anyway. Anything that plays the game for you is not allowed.

I can’t see how macro’s give you a huge advantage in this game as it is aim and twitch based. I tried a few macros out but they didn’t enhance my gameplay in anyway.

Have you tried ones which allows you to cast 3 skills per second?
CelestialSlayer Jan 22, 2018 @ 10:55pm
Well I set the macros up on my razer devices so it times my clicks so how you set it up to do that must be another setting. To be honest it’s the first time I thought about running macros so I’m a noob when it comes to them
