TLDR - give them FREE stuff so they don't have to buy the all content bundle for ~$80 USD.
1000+ games owned on Steam, get a job.
You want free stuff.
No I don't, I just want to keep my purchases on one place, your behaviour here is being very childish, I just wanted to complaint about them removing expansions from steam.
says who played 3000 hours of lotr... lmao, really there's no need for this aggresivity
It's quite clear that the CURRENT expansion INCLUDES ALL previously released content and you SHOULD be compensated for previously owned (AKA BOUGHT) content. If you don't have that content IT"S NOT FREE.
You want free stuff.
Edit:
Also Steam counts a Launcher open as time played for that game for ALL games, it's ALWAYS been that way.
But I won't answer you anymore since I believe you must be trolling or just hating for some reason
Then buy it from in game OR accept the Steam discount for previous content owned, instead of crying over it.
Yes, of course I will end up buying from the crown store since there's no other way around now. But that's the whole point of my complaint, that now I'm forced to buy from the crown store and can't have all my expansions on Steam. I'm complaining about them removing a purchase method for no good reason. I hope that clarifies it.
I fail to see why your all up in arms about needing to buy it on Steam to keep it on Steam,as all content is locked to your ESO account which is linked to your Steam account.I have bought some content that had ESO key that I had to redeem on ESO site, yet still download it with Steam.
If you want to be married to Steam then you have to deal with stuff like this or ya know purchase stuff outside of Steam?
Here is a link since you seem to be so lazy you can't even search outside of Steam for the content and instead be little them over it being put in the Crown Store.

Though clearly they are doing it just for money, all while allowing other sites to still sell keys to the content and cheaper then crown store.
Either they suck at math or they didn't do it just for the money.
I'm not sure tho, who can someone be that stupid to buy something without checking what he will get. Also, Steam has a little reminder on every store page. It says "You already own this product".
And here's the problem: on one half there are 6 year olds, who can buy DLCs 5 times and on other half are people, who prefer buying something directly on steam, maybe on discounts as well.
Anyway, I'm not buying keys from unknown scamming sites.
I never said you was lazy,I said seem to be to lazy.If I wanted to call you lazy I would of just called you a lazy bastard. It's akin to saying you seem to be drunk, then you getting all riled up and saying I'm not a drunk why did you call me a drunk!
Either you was to lazy to bother to find out more info and you just assumed ya knew or you're an idiot trying to pretend they know it all.Which is it?
Yeah I made a stupid statement as to why it was removed, but still stand by it was done to avoid any confusion at all for previous owners and current owners and so forth.
Wow the stubborn and spite is strong in this one...
You would rather make yourself look like an ass then admit you was wrong and that you was not fully informed.Instead when someone points that out you get defensive and then call an official re-seller a scam site.
As I said if you want to be married to Steam your only option is Crown Store, you have options just because you chose to ignore them doesn't make them not exist. So you can be mad all you want but you only have yourself to blame for limiting yourself when there is no need to other then can't swallow your Steam pride and buy some place else.
I also just realized why did you even post a reply to this when this wasn't directed at you,I should of checked the name instead of assuming it was the OP the one that I replied to.
Don't listen to MMOGAMER71, ESO has some of the most pathetic fanboys in existence.
In reality it will be cheaper for you to delete ESO from your Steam account and repurchase the $60 edition from other retailers, which includes Elsweyr, Morrowind, Summerset, and the base game itself, and at the moment- even includes a free mount.
That being said I recommend spending your money elsewhere. Really isn't worth it.
