Does base game come with all previous expansions?

No, but subbing to ESO unlocks all extra content except current expansions. Older expansions are also unlocked with ESO+.

It comes with Morrowind. At least it did when I bought it a couple of months ago.

How so? It's a buy to play game that has updates almost every 2-4 months. Can either buy the content once and never sub or sub for a cheap price and get most of it for free.

They need to make their money somehow.

No it's not because everyone complained about having a mandatotry sub fee when it had one, if you get a sub fee for the game you get all the dlc besides the current chapter, how is that scummy. That is literally just like wow.

I just don't get it people are fine with blizzard having a mandatory sub fee and expansion cost but the same exact thing is what eso has , but it looks different because you can buy the dlc flat out. It's the same exact system , but it's fine if wow does it but not elder scrolls online.... I don't know i'd much rather my games like this have a sub fee , because of eso having to cater to both kinds of pay systems we have a game that has a sub fee, a pretty large cash shop , multiple dlc purchase tiers/chapter tiers. If people just accepted the sub fee from the start all that stuff in the shop would probably be ours to earn in game from gameplay.

You literally wouldn't have to if you listened to what we're saying , but you must be dense or something...bruv. IF YOU SUB YOU GET ALL THE PAST CONTENT INCLUDED....get through that time...bruv. And eso's "old content" isn't obsolete like wow's when they release new content, there's still reasons to go back and play the content a lot of people are playing all of the content in the game because all of the content in the game is just as relevant as it would be at max level as it would be at level 1.

Also mind you that you get the craft bag which is kinda useful and 1650 crowns. the crowns alone cost more than the actual of the membership. Not to mention you can buy the dlc with the crowns you get from the membership.
