Lootable set without the right dlc

Hello guys,

I'd like to get a piece of the Velidreth and Molag Kena set that require 2 dlc that I don't have (yet). I read that we can acquire the shoulder by using an Undaunted key on Urgalarg Chief-Bane's chest. My question is: Can I still get the shoulder by using a key or they will never drop because I don't have the dlc? thanks

Yes you can still get shoulders from the chests even if you don't own the dlcs, as for the helmets, you might want to keep a sharp eye when the golden vendor comes to cyrodill, she sells a random shoulder and monster helmet from any dungeon including dlcs. for example, about two weeks ago i was able to buy velidreth from the vendor despite not having the shadows of the hist dlc

To add, golden vendor is only available weekends in cyrodil

The Golden vender sells things at 300k AP or 150k gold. It depends on the quality. Gold jewelry can go up to 500k AP. It depends on the set. The pieces sold are usually jewelry for some random set (DLC, dungeon or overland etc.).

Sometimes there are also free trials for ESO+, you can also use those to aquire your desired armor as all the DLC [notice, DLC not chapter - so Summerset and soon Elsweyr won't be accessable through ESO+ alone] zones and dungeons are able to be explored.
