ESO Unique items. Keep or dismantle/sell?
I just finished the Morrowind questline and got some items that are labeled as unique - such as the Warrior Poet's sword. As I assumes these items are one time only :

Should I keep these items for max level in order to upgrade them once I level to max?
Can I somewhat turn them into patterns for outfits?
Is there any reason to keep them at all once I find better equipment?

You'll get lots of items like these which will basically be useless so it's often better to dispatch them asap Cuz u get limited inventory space unlike skyrim and if you want u can get them again by doing quests on your alternate toons/characters.
As for leveling just swap for the best you've currently got until cp 160 then you can farm gear and the fact best gear are available from dungeons and Trial which are pretty easy on normal once you reach level 50 cp160.

The only thing that makes them unique is the name, and sometimes a brief description in its tooltip. Besides that, they look like and function exactly the same as any other item of the same set, style, trait, etc. You want your gear to be cp 160, so if you got it at a lower level than that, its basically useless anyways. Just decon it, or use it for trait research, or, sell it, as weapons often sell for more to a vendor then the mats you get from deconning are worth.

There is no reason to keep any gear under cp 160. In your case, "Warrior Poet" isn't a unique item but a set piece. (Google it).
There's no harm in using it as you level up, as long as you replace it with better gear along the way (if you want to get the most of your items, that is).

Here is the thing however. There are 2 types of Warrior Poet items - one being a set piece and the other being a "unique" set piece. One is a standard I got from leveling, the other was a green glass version that is listed as unique and looks completely different, which did come when I googled it prior to posting here.

The reason why I asked was because that green aesthetic of the unique one was something I liked and wanted to know if in future I will be able to get items that look like it to complete the set.

The question was answered couple of hours ago - I just need to farm the Buyoant style for couple dozen hours but indeed I can get that as a pattern for an outfit if I want.

Keep a lookout for unique jewelry from dungeons, some of them reduces the cost of your abilities which having 1 piece is better than having all 3 pieces of the normal ones with the +recovery enchantment.

That special Warrior-Poet sword is probably in Buoyant Armriger style

If you know the style, you can use Outfit system to make any sword you have look like that.
But do note that this particular style is rare and hard to farm (it sometimes appears in chests in Vvardenfell), and would cost you a lot if you buy it from a guild trader.
