??????? TRADE ???????
I'm trying to buy a suggested set to improve my characters but I can not find a seller by zone chat.
[ Looking for Mother's sorrow (belt, shoes, hands 'n destruct staf) and Perfect false God's Devotion ( Chest, Pants, Neck, 2x rings) 'n Crushing Wall (staf) = DPS sorc build ]

I can find what I want to buy (and for a good price) in that site of the Tamriel Trade Center but this site only indicates the trade guild!

I have beeing asking to join in each seller trade guild, but the problem is i can only join for a limited number of guilds and when i reach the guild's seller the item is not there (possibly not for sale anymore).

Then here's my question: How do I buy what I need without the need to join to the guild?

PS: (I can not sign up for TTC because Captcha is not working)

I learned that stuff very early on and I'm like cp 500+ so that's why I'm a bit confused with how you don't know those basic mechanics..

I know how to create something and search. I know when an item is bound to the character or not. I did not know that the itens dungeons had some time to be negotiate because i'm usually sell it in the NPC stores or desconstruct it in craft stations in order to lvl up my craft skills.

I do not usually play RPG, but the few that I've played the good quality sets were able to drop into dungeons! That's the why i didn't give it a properly attention and i'm a little lost when I need to craft something in games.

Until then, the items were able to be selled in a local store, advertise in global chat or sell at auction houses and it didn't have some kind of timer to become bound or not, but here you must go from guild merchant to guild merchant and the itens may or may not be negotiable ... what a mess!

I did not know about the guild merchants because every time I look at the stores, there's never an item to sell. Even using the TTC, when i reach the seller's place the store has no item, even what i was looking for.

I saw the tips note when i did the first interaction with them (Guild traders), but it's weird to have it and you don't see anything when use that kind of store. What's the meanning of a tip when the info does not work as an example?

I decided to improve the information I had on the subject to get out of the rut and try to improve myself and make different content. I was fine with the items I dropped but new contents demands better sets.

c'est la vie

I do not understand how you can be so upset that I asked about it and want to deny the participation of those who, like me, do not have the "proper set" to participate in some more hard or more intense content?

Maybe your overreaction to the subject is more because I got what you got with less information and less effort than you.

Dude just let it go. You don't need to justify yourself. More fun to play game than type.

what does cp have to do with anything ? you raise cp by simply doing quests or grinding dungeons

let alone how people make money out of boosting players in skyreach catacombs or carrying dungeons, youre going to make a ton of increase of cp in one way or the other.

Indeed.
I'm not justifying myself. No need to do it.
It's just that if you're worried about answering in my comment the least I can do is answer yours.
It's a common sense!

Not sure if it was mentioned, but the Crushing Wall staff as you called it, is the vMA staff. Maelstrom Arena is a solo "trial" located in northeastern Wrothgar, which only drops the special set weapons in veteran difficulty. These items are bop, and can not be bought or traded. Only way to get a vMA weapon is to complete Maelstrom Arena on veteran difficulty.

But yeah, as mentioned - you do not need to join a guild to be able to purchase from its trader. Find an NPC guild trader, and you can buy from the store. Go to the TTC website, and search for specific items there, as it will give you listings of the items at what trader in which city - you dont need the actual addon for it. Mothers Sorrow is a good set, it drops in Deshaan, you can farm it, or find it on traders. Julianos is as well, as mentioned it is craftable, so either you can make it if you have the traits researched, or you can ask someone to craft it for you (for a negotiable price), or you can buy it off of a trader, or if you are in a guild, mention your looking for it in gchat, I craft sets for my guildmates all the time at no cost, they just have to provide the mats for it. Work on your rotation, you can do decent dps in some pretty trashy sets.

Didn't know it.
ICan i do MA Vet with Juliano's set?
Or do you have a better alternative for a set?
I can do it in normal mode with Rettlecage n willpower. Dunno if it's enought to a Vet mode.

Got it.
Thank you for the help.
Where can i drop Mother's sorrow in Deshaan?
Brownstone Jun 22, 2019 @ 5:58pm
Julianos is enough for vMA. There are like 2 or 3 better sets anyway and they're at most 10% better so Julianos is a completely end-game viable set.

Not everything depends on your gear in this game, especially the vMA. You can only beat it by learning it. Gear doesn't make a huge difference. It's the hardest solo content.

Got it, i'll try to find it.
Even more to drop that Dest. Staf in MA vet.

There's a set better than Juliano's that i can drop it?
Da Nut Crackah has told me that Mother's Sorrow can be drop in Deshaan.
Is it hard to find?
Brownstone Jun 23, 2019 @ 7:09am
I wouldn't bother dropping Mother's Sorrow and just buy from guild traders because you'll also prefer Divines trait and it's hard to drop in that specific trait. Mother's Sorrow is not "better" than Julianos, it's more like a set that's good when paired with sets like Julianos. So I'd recommend wearing Julianos and Mother's Sorrow together. It's what I'm using currently.

There are some sets that are a bit better than Julianos, like Burning Spellweave which is not really worth farming like crazy because the difference isn't huge. There is also Siroria but I find it boring to manage, I want to be mobile in dungeons but that set requires you to stay stationary to benefit from it's damage bonus. Of course I use it in trials where the grup just stacks and stands still.

Then i'll try to buyor try to work in the requirements to craft this Julianos n try to combine it with this mothers of sorrow, like you.
I wearing Rattlecage, but i think it wont work good with Julianos, isn't it?

Bad news for you dude lol. Crushing Wall drops in Vet Maelstrom Arena. It's some of the hardest content in the game and it's not even guaranteed to drop. You can't just buy it.
False God drops from the new trial Sunspire. Can't buy it either. The only thing you can buy is Mother's Sorrow but honestly some of those items are really expensive so I would just go farm it.
It drops in Deshaan. It's an overland set.

Farming gold by doing other things instead of farming Deshaan is more fun...

Yeah I really recommend that you craft your Julianos yourself, improving your craft skills is not hard at all.

Rattlecage set gives you Major Sorcery (+20% spell damage) but that buff is already obtainable from potions or Sorcerer's Surge skill. You wouldn't want to wear a whole set instead of using a skill to get that buff. Surge is one of the best skills anyway because of the self heal so I'd slot it and drop Rattlecage.

So you're now after two 5-piece sets and you'll probably also want a Monster set. I recommend Ilambris and Zaan. Ilambris is useful for any content and Zaan is good when you're fighting a boss at very close range. I swap between these two depending on the content.
