Is Pummeling Goliath still viable?

Hello new player here, I got the expansion when I first bought the game and my second toon is a Stam Necro, I picked up the pummeling goliath because it seemed like a fun ult to use for PVP and PVE, though after trying to make it work for quite a bit I'm finding it hard justifying using it for damage, my build is set up so that I put a lot of pressure and have a lot of sustain, and I was thinking the ult would be a good way to get some much needed burst when I need more damage instead of worrying about survivability, and after reading the patch notes watching videos about how it used to be OP, I'm thinking that it might have been nerfed to redundancy. Is there any here that have seen or are using it over the other morph?

And is it just me or is the bash speed really random now? I know it shouldn't be as fast as how it used to be, but I'm getting mixed speeds when trying to bash spam, even re-mapped it to my mouse button but still finding it really hard to have a consistent bash speed compared to all my other light attack cancels, speaking of damage I deal more damage in my tanking kit than I do with my pummeling goliath, I am really rethinking of changing the morph because I'm struggling to try to make it work. Thoughts and Feedback please.

Can you hear the cry? Several babies are going to lose their crutches. Its so satisfying to read their bitchery on the PTS forums. How they will script their moves (using cheating software) without animation cancelling? ESO PvP is cheaters galore and most of the cheating use this crutch called animation cancelling.

The recent nerf on Goliath was amazing. So far we zerged several necromancers without them being able to bash.

Accept that you're bad a player and don't know crap about the game.

Animation Cancelling is by no means a crutch it adds more depth to combat, I'm not sure if you have read older patch notes, but Zos is well aware of it and balances the game around Animation Cancelling, it's not cheating, nor is it foul play of any kind, accusing players of using it as cheaters is just making you look like an even newer player than me.
