Do any mounts or pets actually engage in battle?
I guess I should do my own research, but I already worked all day and now I'm lazy. So, like the title says, do any of the mounts or pets in the game actually engage in battle? I have a baby dragon, an ugly cat (which of course does not engage in battle, because it's the size of a small house cat), and a mount I got with Elsweyr, which is a horse with some sort of blue electricity coming off him. But none are actually useful in the game, except the mount which allows me to get around a little more quickly. I have a purple winged harpy looking thing I conjure which actually does engage in Battle, but I could use more help doing solo. Well, not much anymore, but occasionally.

Well, I thought as much, but I'm definitely not confident yet that I know everything about the game. Thanks.

None of the mounts engages in combat, and the pets are called "Non-Combat Pets" for a reason.

There are three permanent pets that do engage in combat:

Sorcerer class has two combat pets in the Daedric Summoning skill line. each with two possible morphs. They have three possible forms - Scamp or Clannfear, and Winged Twilight/Matriarch.

Warden class has a Bear Ultimate ability, with two possible morphs.

Winged Twilight is the one I'm using right now.
