CANT CHANGE INSTALL FOLDER
So, I just bought the game and proceeded to install it. It says it needs 90 GB (!). So I proceed to clear my SSD of all other games and put it into it leaving around 15 GB of free space on that partition. After installing it says it needs ANOTHER 20 GB, which now I dont have on this partition and ALSO that it wont let me change the install patch (so I can use my other SSD, for example). So now I'm stuck with this 90 GB useless download, lost the money spent and can't play the game because I can't change the install patch on the installer? Does it even makes sense?
Before someone says I can move the entire installer to another partition and install from there, I can't because I use 2 SSDs only with 125 GB each. (edit: in the steam store page it says the requirement is 85GB of storage on RECOMENDED settings) Is there any workaround or I can proceed with the reimbursement of my purchase?

Thanks in advance

did you try to go to steam --> Settings --> Downloads --> Steam library folder? You can create a new folder anywhere on your computer and steam will install there if you tell it to.

Yep, I have one folder on each SSD. On the ESO installer it chooses automatically the one that it is originally downloaded. Thank you for the try!

That is weird I can install it to any library and even create a new one and install it there.

Maybe I didn't explain it well:
On steam I can choose to install it anywhere. It downloads 85gb and put it where I told it too. After the download, when I click "Play" on Steam it runs an install wizard that asks for another install with 20 gb, but it does not let me choose the installation path. For the reasons stated above, I can't do that way. If there is no workaround I will have to either buy a bigger storage than it is stated on the game store page recomended settings or asks for a reimbursement. I'm just trying to confirm this is true as it seems pretty absurd to me to work this way.

The launcher that runs after the Steam download assumes that the data it's about to download is going to be put with.. the rest of the game's data, in the same folder.

You can't split it up for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately, you need a larger SSD.

Ok, Thank you for the info.
I play a lot of high end games and none of them requires this much storage to be played and I can't believe this games requires that much. It seems, to me, that it is a flaw in the installing proccess. Anyway, if it isn't, should be stated correctly into the store page that the game REQUIRES more than 125GB storage to be played.
I'm requiring a refund.

Thank you again for all the help.

The game requires that much storage space during installation due to unpacking of temporary files.

Once it's all said and done, actual installation size is 99GB.

It's a gigantic game with a gigantic world and tons of voice acting.. so yes, it's quite large.

Hey Requimatic. If it uses that much for temporary files It should be able to use another folders than the download one.
Even though the 100+GB (it is using that even before the launcher install) is higher than the 85GB stated into the store page.
I could not contact support either, and verified that this issue is happening with a lot of people since launch (google it) and remains unresolved. I wonder if they fix in-game bugs this quick.
I never asked for a refund on steam, this is the first, and the worst part is that:

1 - Steam will not refund my credit card. Just got some useless steam wallet funds
2 - I had to wait this useless 85 GB download for nothing

Anyway sadly, as a costumer, I feel like I'm being told that it is MY FAULT that I do have a higher recomended sys specs, but still lower than really required. First refund ever on steam and worst costumer service I ever seen.
