you won't have double bank space without ESO+

so before I spend $300,000 gold on a medium house if I have 150 items in my small house some of which I bought when I had eso plus can I still move all of them? I have seen some posts that say yes and some say no.

Yes, you will be able to remove all 150 items, go to your new house and place the items.

Mind that if you move a furniture item in a house that is exceeding the non-ESO+ limit, you won't be able to place it in the same house.
Greetings Citizen of Tamriel,

ESO+ gives double furnishing space for collectible furnishings.
Should you have this space filled with the max of its capacity, after ESO+ it will remain in the house, the moment you pick it up, you wont be able to replace this as your capacity has been halved. You can however still place the half of what you had before as capacity.

With Kind Regards,

Her Royal Highness
Queen Siviria of House Ashariel
1st of Her Name

So if I want to fully furnish a bigger house it sounds like I would have to buy a month of ESO plus, use up all my monthly crowns to buy stuff and move all my furnishings. It's a big pity that you cannot use the gold collected in the game to buy decent furniture. At my point in the game about all I can use it for is a bigger house.

Unless you plan to have something that can only be bought in the Crown Store in your house, you only need ESO+.

Most furnishings can either be crafted, bought from NPC's for gold, or some even stolen from NPC's.
