1. Crash the game entirely.
2. Potentially overheat the CPU from the strain.
Not only is integrated graphics just.. usually bad, but this game is very, VERY terribly optimized; to the point that the most expensive PC you could possibly build right now, using all the latest and greatest hardware, would still experience frame drops on even 2k resolutions.
The development team is, apparently, working on massive optimizations and such starting 2020 (they have a "roadmap" regarding this), but until the the game is both ported to a new Engine (or the current one is completely overhauled) and given dedicated servers.. it just isn't going to play well no matter what they do.
As far as I know, neither of those things are part of their "solution" to the poor performance.. although maybe by then enough people will have complained that they actually decide to do one of those massive undertakings to make their game run well.
I look for the average player to net around 10 FPS at best by the end of those changes. And if the have the audacity to implement the kind of thing that you see in Korean MMORPGs (3D to 2D model down scaling in crowded areas, for example.. TERA was bad about that crap).. well, players will just leave in droves.
But anyway.
