Psjiic Order questline
I don't know how much that has been discussed here--I'm afraid to look--but: the Psjiic Order questline.

I'm one who plays this game for the overland quests (yes, I like the dungeons and stuff too)--I like to see how the writing is and what situations, places, and people I run across as a particular story progresses. I'm happy for all the many who love building super characters to destroy each other in PVP, but that's not my thing (not to mention, I would hugely suck if it were:steammocking:).

That said, I can't believe the Psjiic Order quests. Boring beyond description. You go around place after place putting out time breaches. Again and again and again all over Tamriel. And again and again......... I've come to understand that at CP 225 I've barely scratched the surface of this game, but I'd like to know at this relatively early stage am I going to run into more and more of this kind of "run out of ideas" writing as I go on or is this quest just an anomaly? I really have enjoyed most of the quest stories so far but if Psjiic Order is an indicator of what's to come I think I'd be better off to cut my costs and run (save my time, that is, lol).

Any insights appreciated.

Tl;dr version: is this really just a game for people who want to grind/craft legendary sets and beat up on each other and the original spate of interesting quests I encountered dries up, or can I expect continuing interesting quests as I go on?

I Thought that questline was very repetitive as well. The best part was the last fight. Most of the game (from what I've experienced) is not that bad.

The psijic order questline is an exception. Most quests and storylines dont have anywhere near this amount of boring repetitiveness. I havent done it yet, but I heard the Summerset Island storyline quests are somewhat grindy and repetitive, but not nearly as bad as the psijic ones. Also, the psijic order quest line doesnt give you access to anything besides the skill line and an interesting furnishing item at the end. Has nothing to do with gear. The skill line is also something that isnt exactly necessary either. If your really pushing dps on a mag toon you need it, or if you wanna do a lot of tanky pvp its good. But not much else.
there are a few other lengthy Quests like in Elsweyr where you have to collect all the 16 pieces of the rithana di renada and at the end u get it for your house... in Vvardenfell there is another... so throughout the game there are a few lengthy quests but it is not enough to actually deter one from doing the story quests or other quests in the region.... :Ebonheart:

well, i haven't timed myself but i have a feeling i'll be OVER 3h by the time i finish.
and i suppose i will go ahead go ahead and finish it cause i'm sort of a half-assed completionist and kirkman did say there was kind of a good boss fight at the end, lol.

One awesome thing about the recent patch, once completed, skill lines can be purchased for other characters using crowns. So, you only ever have to do that grind once.
