Nirnhoned Research

Hello Guys
I've just finished my first Nirnhoned research, and receive an "Nirnhoned Researcher" achievement.

But what does that mean? Now it will be more "easy" to farm nirnhoned in Craglorn? Do I have some researching bonus to help me with the research of the rest of my armor/weapons?

Or do I get nothing, and will spent years trying to find/research nirnhoned trait?

doesn't mean anything, just an achievement. Makes farming them no easier.

There are two nirnhoneds, 1 for weapons=potent, and 1 for armor=forified. You can buy nirnhoned from guild traders

basically what Trigger said - its just an achievement that has little practical meaning, similar to most achievements that dont have a dye, title, costume, or collectible that comes with them.

Just to explain a bit about learning the nirnhoned traits - there are VERY VERY few sources of gear that comes in the nirnhoned trait. Basically a moderately time consuming line of quests in Craglorn would reward you with a single random piece of gear with nirn trait that could only be used for research, and vMA and vDSA can sometimes drop nirn traited weapons upon completion - not sure but vBRP probably can too. Trying to learn it that way could in fact take years. Just do what the rest of us did, buy items in nirn trait off of stores, or have guildies make them for you (usually for free if you provide the nirncrux).

I want to highlight another point, if you want to make a set with 9 traits, then you will need nirnhoed, and this is a good reason to have the trait nirnhoed
