Thieves Guild questline bugged.

I just subbed last week and the first dlc I've tried is the thieves guild. It was pretty great up until 3 days ago when I got to the quest "Forever Hold Your Peace". I get to a part where I have stolen a key and found the location of the lady and need to enter the palace, but it won't let me enter it. It's just greyed out and thet quest can't be finished, which blocks me from all the rest of the thieves guild story and getting the assistant at the end.

So first I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I've made tickets, emailed back and forth with the customer service, retried the quest and done it different ways, logged out for a day while at the broken part of the quest, /reloadui, /stuck, and everything else I can think of. All customer service said was to try those same things again after first saying I had filed my ticket wrong and labeling the issue as "solved".

Also, is this something I can expect to run into a lot? People on other forums have definitely been reporting this issue with this quest for over a year. I feel kind of hesitant continuing the sub and trying the other dlc if it's just going to glitch out half way through. I'm honestly pretty surprised, I've played like a dozen mmo's over the past 15 years and any issues like this were always fixed within a day.

It sucks though because I love the game. I just want to get back to thievin' since a huge part of me subbing was access to all the dlc.

Are you totally sure that you're doing everything right and didnt miss any vital part of quest?

Totally sure. It's an issue that others have had as well. I have the key, the location, and it says to enter the palace but I can't enter it. The quest marker is not on the kichen door to the palace I have the key for it's somewhere to the south west of it outside the playzone that I can't get to and it's not a door marker it's a regular arrow marker.

I have run the Thieves guild storyline six times and haven't encountered that. As long as I've played this game I still forget one thing or another, so still look around and see if you're not missing something obvious.....

Edit:I have had weird lag related things were i had to stand in just the right place to open doors or chests or just zone out and back in.

I hate to say it, but abondon the quest and start over..it sucks i know. And no, it doesn't happen much. I've done all three faction storylines and all the DLC with six characters and I've had to do it maybe 4 times.

I tried abandoning a few times it and even took different dates and outfits and stuff it still happens. Hoping I'll here from support again tonight or tomorrow. :/

You may just have to wait for your ticket. I put one through a long time ago and it just advanced me to the next part of the quest when i logged in one day..

I got through all that just fine. I am experiencing a problem at "Attend the Wedding Ceremony". I am here, standing on the quest maker and nothing is happening. "Cosh/Nicolas" is just standing around, the attendees are doing their random remarks but nothing beyond that. I have tried reloading UI, Cancelling Quest and restarting it, it still stops at this point.

I never got my issue figured out, but let me tell you that guild wars 2 is probably my new favorite mmo and it has no sub.
