Blacksmithing - What is the quickest way to level up?

I am only level 21 in blacksmithing just from deconstructing armor and weapons that I pick up from dungeons. Is there a quicker way to level up?

get someone to make you high level crap stuff and deconstruct them, rinse and repeat

if you got lots of ingame gold, then you can speed it up a bit by buying intricate weapons/heavy armor and deconstructiing those as they give a bit higher blacksmithing skill line xp, and you can also do daily blacksmithing writs that when handed in will give you a bit of an xp boost towards your blacksmiting level.

Forget crafting while leveling. Just deconstruct and reseach when you get items. Store materials. When you get lv 50 cp160 and loot only rubedite stuff, the deconstruction alone will give you enough xp to powerlevel the entire skill line.

It's not like you need crafting for leveling, the scaling kills the need for it. Crafting is mainly for when you're already max level.

DAGGERS = highiest IP. Jump on another Toon and get him to make iron daggers, put daggers in bank. Jump back onto crafting toon and deconstruct the daggers.

That's just a waste of iron, I'm pretty sure that deconstructing the ton of rubedite weapons you get as trash loot from dungeons and other content will be way faster.
I leveled all 3 equipment jobs like that and that was very very fast.

DAGGERS of any MAT earn the most IP of all blacksmithing items.

If you decon a item that has a higher rating (green, blue, etc), you do gain more points. Also, look for items (weapons and armor) that have the decon symbol on them.
