I have a question for how CP works for shared characters

So lets say I have one character at level 190CP. Other new characters I make then on would have access to that CP. So lets say if I leveled up the other characters to level 50, upon reaching level 50 would they immediately beccome level 190CP too?

No. Every character levels his own CP. The only thing your account shares is Enlightenment, so you can only get bonus XP once per account, not per character.

But my other new characters immediately had access to the same amount of CP my main one has so yeah...

Sorry, but that is wrong. Characters share CP regardless of level. All my characters are the same CP level. And yes, that CP has an effect even on a new character.

All characters on your account can spend CP independently, but only level 50 characters can earn CP to spend.

For the question you asked, you 100% right.

CP shared across all characters, so, say I made a new character, when I jump in the game I can immediately spend cps earned from my cp characters, the only downside is, until your new character hits cp, you cant earn any more cps.

cp is account wide. You could start a new character and as soon as he spawns into game as level 3, open CHAMPION POINTS and apply those 190 cp to your level 3 character. There is only 1 grind in CP to make.

not clear, you just have to play the CP characters, I switched between CP600 characters and reg level characters all the time, you just wont earn CP points while you are leveling the new toon as your xp will be spent in actual leveling that character, but if you switch back to your CP characters they still earn CP as normal, those xp wont be applied to the low level toons unlike your CP toons

. xp is xp, whether it is for levels or CP, but level 1-50 the xp just applies to that individual toon, after CP level is reached, all xp is shared between all your toons.

I'm not sure if I made that more clear or more confusing.

I am stilll somewhat new to the game and still wasn't too sure about how CP worked so I needed to know if I was right and did not want to mess up on levelling my characters.

ok say you have 3 characters :

1 character is level 50 CP 160
1 character is level 35
1 character is level 15

- The character that is level 50 CP 160 can wear end-game gear

- the character that is level 35 can not wear end-game gear atm (will be able to when he reaches level 50 and automatically cp 160 because you alerady have cp 160 on your 1st char and cp is account wide) but has access to 160 cp points that he can distribute and use even now
