The Elder Scrolls Online

Unable to get to Character Creation
Finally installed the game after three hours, started it up. Skipped past the cut-scenes, got to the main menu. Had to quit and restart a few times because it couldn't connect to the servers. Finally connect to the servers, and it instantly boots me into a loading screen. FIFTEEN MINUTES PASS, and I finally just close the process and try again. Five minutes pass, still loading. Finally I make a macro to press ESC every 0.25s to try and get back to the main menu, as it instantly puts me in a loading screen upon starting the game.

I set every single value to minimum, L O A D I N G S C R E E N
I let it sit while I eat lunch, come back and I was kicked for inactivity after half an hour.
I set up a script to move my house at random intervals, take a shower. STILL ON A LOADING SCREEN AFTER ANOTHER HALF HOUR.
So I keep it in the background, tab over and move the mouse every now and then, even though the process has sucked every ounce of power from my CPU. It finally, FINALLY loads character creation.

Everything is blurry, text is blurry, faces blurry, can't see tatoos, all textures are mud, looks like garbage. I was getting 10fps with hiccups.

Just to make sure my hardware wasn't dying, I booted up Dota2 and was in a practice lobby from 30s after launching the .exe. With that open, I brought up WoW at ultra graphics flying above a hub city, and got a stable 60fps, except with WoW I went from .exe to character in another rough 30 seconds.

Why is this literally the only game where I have loading screens over 30 seconds, and not only that, but FIFTEEN MINUTES and still loading? How poorly optimized is your code that this has been an issue since OPEN BETA?

I would love to refund the game, except I've spend over 2 hours simply staring at a loading screen, rendering me unable.

Bravo Bethesda, you managed to steal my money once again, you hacks.

doesn't sound like your pc can handle 64-bit, try the 32-bit client

Or try to run the repair option in the eso launcher and see if that helps out make sure you don't run repair option through the steam verification files otherwise it will redownload.

Check what version you eso launcher has if its different then 1.3.6.1380697 you need to replace the launcher with either trying to run the repair option from it or replacing it with a fresh one.

Might also try to clear your temp folders and cache.

That's grammar tho "doesn't sound like you can handle 64-bit" doesn't = does not so that means his pc can handle it
