Can I silence my character?

Is there a way to make it so i dont hear my character grunt and make noises without muting the effects tabs?

well one way to to stop hearing the screaming is stay away from high places ;)

you can actually negate falling damage if you slide along a surface. even if it's a sheer vertical wall or cliff. push up against it and it sort of "breaks" your fall even if it doesn't actually slow the fall. obvs if you fall off a bridge that isn't so helpful.
