You can solo mostly everything except group dungeons and world bosses. People with a bit of hands can solo most of world bosses, tho. And i know some people who can solo nearly every group dungeon in base game. So if its not DLC wb or not vet group dungeon, just solo it.

How do i know if its a group dungeon or something i can solo? is there a certain level i should be at?

No certain level. Its there's funcy stone gate with "+" on map, its group dungeon. It there's skull with swords, its a world boss. Find 1 min to opem map and read map icons descriptions.

Small solo dungeons are the torches (except in craglorn, the torches with + next to them are group versions)

I've soloed worldbosses too but it's not exactly easy. I have max champion points (don't worry about those until you hit level 50 for now), gear set up and I use shields to avoid damage, I still die depending on what the boss is. The bosses have a lot of health and they can do a lot of damage just using regular attacks and can one-hit you with specials.

Normal difficulty group dungeons are possible. And only if they're the 1st version and not the 2nd.
Although I've only soloed normal Darkshade Caverns I a couple times farming for an item set.

As i said, you can kill most of wb in base game solo, not all of them. And yeah, those are aout resource management. But usually 16-18k hp is more than enough to avoid insta kills. Wb fights are about resource management and common sence. There's "easy" ones like that gurl in Alik'r where all you need is get out from red, "medium" ones which require some skill, and some of "hard" ones like those 3 sorcerers in Auridon.

Sure its possible. We even have a guy in our guild who soloed nearly all base game group dungeons on vet. But its about certain few setups, not normal playing.

Those guys are probably some of the hardest. Even before worldbosses got lots of buffs.
They're in one of the "first" areas too which is really strange because you'd expect a WB like that in Reaper's March or something.

Well of course. Worldbosses and group dungeons are designed for more than one player.
So of course you need a good setup and gear and stuff to get anywhere with them.

Darkshade I,Spindleclutch I, Fungal I, CoA I, VoM I, Banished Cells I, Elden I, Arx I and CoH I are all soloable. Even Direfrost I until you get to the plates. They're not even very difficult just time consuming. Did them on a magplar on one bar with spam sweeps one heal and 3 dots. Useful for farming netch's and bsw, and the trophy heads look good on your wall too.
