mage's guild quest help please

Hi, i accidentally abandoned the mage's huild quest line after meeting sheogorath in cheesemonger hollow. I was on the next stage of the quest after that but i can't find anyone to give me the quest again. I've visited mages guilds and no one seems to want to give me the quest. I'm khajiit if that makes a difference? Many thanks.

You will have to travel to the guildhall at the appropriate zone were the story left off. Travel the capital city guild hall, look for available quests IN the hall, if there isn't any, move on to the next zone, stopping in that zone's capital city guildhall to see if you can find the quest.

Search a ESo wiki for the exact locations. when you abandoned the quest, the quest giver recieved it again and if you go back to that one you will find they offer it again. So it is just a matter of retracing your steps.
