Game taking forever to download

the game downloading at a extremely slow speed, even my steam telling me it's going to take more than a year, never happened before in other game. Any solutions???

I am experiencing the same issue with another game. It could be steam, if you are downloading through the steam client. I am downloading a game that only has about 100 mb left and it is giving me 30+ hours to download.

Try changing download server and/or restarting steam, mine is downloading at the normal speed i usually get.

That is odd, not sure what else to suggest. Usually when steam download speeds start acting up restarting steam usually fixes it for me.

my internet is great connected through wire, and it's only the problem for elder scroll online, that's why i'm here to ask

steam was 4 hours to download base game, no dlc's at that time. Then eso launcher took 14 hours to download all the updates made to game since launch. This took place 9 months after launch.

every time i restart it, it can stay 5 mb/s (which will finish in about 4 hour) for only around 30 secs, then it's going down to around 100k/s

happnening to me as well getting 100kbs then it will go max speed then back down again 2 mins later

Same here, usually get 65mbps but getting around 100kbps since last night

I'm having the same problem, I don't have a great internet speed, only 8 Mbps, so 1MB/S download speed, but for this game the download actually even stop sometimes, then go back to 1 MB, then 300 kb/s, then 0 etc....
