The thing is, if you can not get into a dungeon after waiting for more than 15-20 minutes even as a damage dealer ( dds have the longest queue times simply because there are alot of them in the queue at all times), then you should leave queue and then re-queue again, because there is a bug with the group finder where it shows you are in queue when in fact you are no longer in que thus the abnormally long wait times you are experiencing.
The shortest queues are for tanks and healers, the longest for damage dealers, at at peak hours as dd you might experience longer waits, but healers and tanks are always in high demand because not many people play them compared to damage dealers. This is ofc at peak hours.
At off-peak hours (early in the day/late at night) you might have to wait longer cause there are not that many people playing and doing dungeons or you might get lucky and get matched for a dungeon fast cause again there are not many people playing.
My advice is : if you are waiting longer than 15-20 minutes, disconnect from group finder and re-queue again, or start playing the more boring but highly sought after roles of tank or healer
BUT DO NOT queue as FAKE TANK/HEALER or you will get kicked from dungeons and then you have to wait all over again.
The sacrificial alter has a queue time as well. Do you by chance have a dog? I heard that queue isn't as long.
but be carefull for some reason it really triggers some people
The same reason a DD shouldn't queue as healer, or a healer queue as damage.
Sure, you could get into dungeons - if you fought with it.
And you COULD queue up as a pre-made team - IF you fought with it.
And from what you are saying - you STILL have to fight with it.
Again.... Kinda kills the charm of a 'multi-player' game if it's difficult to actually PLAY in a mult-player group.
So, yes....
Why da ****************************************************** (insert as many explicatives in there as you like! ^_^ ) isn't this issue fixed - it's been.... more than a year. Perhaps it could even be said 'since game launch'.
