Tanking advice ?
I was fighting investigator garron with a group and even when I was using pierce armor ( the best taunt I know of) he was still just ignoring me and killing my allies over and over so it made the fight impossible. What is the best way to gain aggro as a dk tank ?

Also I want to farm for sets but as a tank my dps is terrible. On other mmo's I have played I can deal decent damage as a tank, but in eso it takes so long to kill anything so farming for better items seems really hard atm. Any advice to help with this please ? :)

I think he will actively attack the first player who aggros him.

If that's not it, then maybe someone else used a taunting skill? (less likely)

It's been awhile since I've done Wayrest Sewers, but from what I remember I don't think Investigator Garron can be taunted. You just have to do your best to keep track of him as he teleports about. Guard your healer & dps him as hard as possible. Also with those orbs, if one is chasing you be sure to run away from the rest of your group. not through them.

On my Templar tank, I have bow on the backbar for bosses like this so I can still supply some 'backup' dps when needed. I also have it slotted when I solo dungeons. My dps still isn't fantastic, but most times I can solo many of the dungeons (on normal) within an hour.

I'm pretty sure the way all bosses and regular mobs work is they will attack whomever is hitting them for the most damage.

I see it all the time in Dolmens when some weak bow and arrow user is shooting a beast, and then I start hitting it and it turns to me.

Enemies always turn to me when I start hitting them hard.
I am the bigger threat, they go after the bigger threat.

You said your DPS is weak, well the enemy doesn't care about you then, that's why whatever move your talking about isn't working.

I am a Level 328 Breton Templar and I specialize in heavy armor and 2h weapons so I spend a lot of time in the front lines while watching for needed heals.

aggro in this game is retaarded. Go walk into some mobs and hit them with whatever attack, they`ll just ignore you and walk one kilometer to my party members who were not even in sight.

some bosses in this game can't be taunted. Also, against group of mobs, just spam whatever aoe you have to keep them one you, since this game doesn't have one damn aoe taunt.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

After playing more it seems he just can't be taunted like you said sergykid. I have had no issues keeping aggro from other bosses so far. I usually quickly use my aggro skill on all the big threats so they just go for me, and I keep applying it before the duration runs out. It's a shame some bosses can't be taunted though, it made me as a tank basically useless; at least it's rare though :)
