How to join eso forums?

I wanted to post something for the first time on their forum https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en but I can't either sign in or register.
I bought the game on steam, not from their website and maybe this is the problem. I have a valid account on their website anyway and I'm able to login in there. When I'm logged to their website I'm able to check my game account (says it's linked to steam), the crown count and everything else is correct. But when I click on forums on the top of the page I have to login/register. Except that it won't me login (it says "Sorry, no account could be found related to the email/username you entered"), won't me recover the password (it doesn't seem a password problem anyway) and, that's the best, I can't register a new account because it requires an INVITATION!? I'm basically cut out of their forums. Anybody else with the same problem?

I had the same issue a while back. I didn't realise that you need to send a message to ESO's support asking for a forum invite. After messaging them I got the invite and had a forum account within a day.

You gonna have to wait something like a day or two for the invitation to arrive, goodluck.
