Can't train riding skills?

In the last day or so, I've been unable to train riding skills.
My character summary says "You are ready to train a riding skill. Visit a stable master to train."

Talking to the stables NPC shows neither a countdown timer for the current skill, nor "plus" symbols to train a new skill.

Any ideas?

Hello,
i assume that you own already a Mount and that you set one as you active Mount in the Collection-Mount Tab? If yes you can visit any stable master and at the top right you can switch between buy a mount and train a mount. Switch to train a mount and there you should be able to upgrade your Mount :) Here you can take a look at my Mount Guide for ESO if you need more information :)

when i first started playing eso you didn't need to own mount to train mount, never heard they changed it.

Do you have enough gold on your character to pay for it?

:D I didnt think about that option that you dont have 250 Gold on your Character XD Nice that your problem got so easy solved :)
