in the one handed skill line, there is a skill specifically designed to aggro things called punture. There is also a skill for the undaunted that is a ranged aggro

Yeah it's the same as with any other tank. Taunts are not class skills, there are 3 taunts in the game, the undaunted spell, the first skill of one handed and shield and the heavy attack of the frost staff if you have the right passive in destruction staff.

Thank you very much, another question is: Can I go as a tank with a two-handed weapon (greatsword,maul...) with the Defending trait?

Thank you again :)

Unlike a lot of MMOs, there is no real way for a tank to "maintain" aggro. Instead, you are limited to specific skills which taunt the mob and then everything else is purely reliant on damage.

Puncture, as mentioned, from the One-Handed weapon line and Inner Fire, from the Undaunted skill line, are the two skills in question which allow you to function as a tank.

To respond to your "Can I tank with a two handed sword" the answer is really no. In Dungeons and Dragons Online you could, because damage was the main way to tank, but here tanking is pretty much down to using those 2 skills for aggro, then mitigating the damage through blocking, of which a shield will serve you much better as well as the one-handed skill line.

TESO has you using 2 weapons at once, and there are times when both weapon sets will want to be one handed weapons and shields, but others you can switch your second weapon to something else so sure, you could try a two handed weapon. But if you're doing this for aesthetic reasons or because you wanna be a badass tank with a 2 handed the answer remains that this is not the game for doing that.

I like ice staffs (staves?). You get a free (doesn't take up space on your bar) taunt, get to block with magicka... I wonder how common they are for tanks.
