best trait for items (generally)
so basically which is the best trait in general. Nirnhoned? because i see it's expensive.

i normally play a stamina tank, but i`ll switch to magicka tank since playing stamina is a pain (since block/dodge/sprint/break free, all use stamina)

and i`m making a personal set, should i go for nirnhoned as tank?

and for DD, what's better: sharpened or nirnhoned.

No the best trait for weapons is sharpened Nirn comes 2nd the fact that why the nirn is expensive is because its rarer compered to sharpened stone

DD's need to do 18k penetration since thats the max armor amount the NPC's have more penet will be overpenetration which will be useless thats why u need sharpened DMG without taking the armor of the enemy is useless ^^

for armor it depends... mostly tanks they run infused + sturdy or mundus Reinforced is not something that you should be using since your Armor will be pretty much high anyway considering you will wear Heavy armor so Reinforced is not needed.

PvP = Impen, PvE = Divines on armor. Weapons = precise, sharpened and infused.

Sharpened is usually prefered over Nirnhoned, for DD at least.
Other popular traits are Divines and Infused, and Impenetrable for tanky builds.

so as PVE armor
for a DD i should go divines
and for tank i should go for ... infused health ? why is not nirnhoned good as tank? it gives both spell and physical resistances

Nirn is expensive because:
- You can get it only in Craglorn,
- Its kinda in-game currency, price didnt changed much for 3 years.

Same sh1t with prismatic runes. They cost ~10-15k gold each. But you can farm those as much as you want, if you have access to Imperial City DLC, since it drops only there.

There's no "best" trait. Its always depends on situation.

For example, people like divines because it enlarge mundus stone bonus. For crit it means you will get about 18% bonus instead of 12%. If you have 7 armor items of divines trait in legendary quality. Yey, 6% more crit chance for additional half-million of gold.

And, you can buy, for example, Enchanted, which is gives you extra stats and much cheaper.

Same with weapons. Sharpened is cool (hey, additional penetration), but if you're not a tank, dont have 600 CP etc, you can easily use, for example, Defensive. Additional 5k resist instead of 5k penetration. But Sharpened staff is 200k gold, and same staff with Defensive is 3-4k gold.

Divines/Sharpened games are for minmaxers who sucking each 0,00001% of dps and says "<class>? Use <race> or <race>, all other races are useless sh_t because <blahblahblah, 4% additional damage>.

Because armor defence is not that important, just having an heavy armor with passives is enough, other thing like regen, damage shields, damage reduction etc. are equally important. A tank with 40K armor is a lot less useful than a tank with 28K having other stats raised.

Sturdy for a tank for example is a lot better, because blocking is vital, a tank that can't block when he wants to can rapidly become a dead tank.

gold is not problem, i am not buying anything since i want to craft them, i will go craft myself hunding's rage so i will craft in divines, my weapon is sharpened, and i`ll get the bonus crit mundus

and for tank i buyed my sets with reinforced, but if you say they're least useful i will buy instead then the infused ones (for extra health from the glyph)

even tho this is true^^

that 0,00001% dmg is important and if ur wrong race %4 is a legend DPS loss aswell dont think about this as solo if 8 DPS in a trial were to lose %4 of the DPS that means a %32 of a grp dps loss u need to think these type of things if ur doing VMoL HM but yeah its for minmaxers LOL
